The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is an important start on your journey. Follow these steps to take advantage of FAFSA:
- Submit your application for admission to Quincy University.
- File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible after October 1st with priority deadline of December 1st. Quincy’s FAFSA code is 001745. (see video below)
- Talk with your admissions counselor about available Quincy scholarships, and research local, state, and national scholarships you may be eligible for.
- Upon receiving your financial aid award offer from Quincy, promptly return any requested documents, or contact Quincy’s student financial services staff with your questions or concerns.
Student Financial Assistance Completing the FAFSA opens the door to financial assistance.
Once you’ve submitted your FAFSA and have been admitted to QU, we will send you a financial aid package, which includes qualifying QU scholarships, federal and state funds, and loan options. Explore each type of aid and how the aid works. Some types of aid require a payback, while others don’t.
You are not required to accept your entire aid package. You may accept some, all, or a combination of offered funds. We are here to help, so contact us if you would like to discuss your options or financial aid offer letter.
